Hi! I’m Esme, and I am a textile artist from Barcelona based in Germany.
My hands are always busy combining threads, fabrics, pigments and all sorts of pieces of color. Ever since I was a kid I’ve had a pencil or a brush in my hands (ask my grandmother about the paintings on her walls…), since I need to draw life to understand it.
Painting has always been a part of me, even when working as a fashion designer for many international brands. I have created a brand that represents my world, Byesme, where so many aspects and people and places intertwine. And so is my work: sometimes I make bags, sometimes I paint. But I am always creating.
